I've heard so many good things about The Little Gym that I finally decided to sign Jeffrey up for a Mommy and Me class. Jeffrey absolutely loves it! We do lots of fun activities to help build motor skills like aerobics, gymnastics, sing songs, play with balls, hoops and bubbles...just to name a few. Jeffrey gets so excited when he does something that he loves to tell the teacher. He loves being around the other kids and doing new activities each week. And I have so much fun doing it with him. It makes me happy to see him so excited. He likes to tell Daddy and Grandma everything he does at the Little Gym. We look forward to many more weeks.
It's that time again...our annual outing at the State Fair with Jeff's family. Jeff usually complains before we go (like most guys, I understand) but we always end up having a good time. Who wouldn't enjoy eating yummy corn, the kids having fun and watching all the weirdos? This year was especially fun because Jeffrey was old enough for the big yellow slide (which he went on 3 times) and some of the other small rides. The pony ride was another highlight. We always have fun with Jeff's family and we made some good memories.
P.S. There are lots of pictures. Deal with it!

We finally did it! We have been wanting to learn CPR ever since we had kids really, but especially since last year when Jeffrey had a scary incident. We've had a brochure from Utah Emergency Medical Training Council hanging on our fridge for almost a year and I finally made the call to set it up. What's nice about this place is that if you have 6 or more people they will come to you. We invited all of our family to join us at our house for the class. It was so helpful! Sure, you see it done on TV or what not, but would you really know what to do? She went over everything about CPR and choking on infants, toddlers and adults. I hope that I never have to use it, but if I do I feel a lot more confident about my skills. I would recommend it to everyone!
This weekend we took the kids to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. Jeffrey loved the white alligator and the big elephant that sprayed water out of his trunk. He didn't discover it until the end and he didn't want to leave. We literally had to drag him off kicking and screaming, but he was laughing like crazy while he sat on it. I wish we had it on video. Hannah was an angel, as usual. She just hung out in the stroller and got out occasionally to see the animals or take a picture. Do you remember the machine that made the little wax animals? They don't have it any more! That's what I remember about the zoo when I was little. I was disappointed when I found out they no longer exist. Oh well!
Jeff thought it was funny to take a picture of Hannah by this sign...
Did I mention we saw Mehmet Okur (Jazz basketball player)...
