Walking with Dinosaurs
Last weekend we took Jeffrey to the coolest dinosaur show ever! Sure, I was a little disturbed when the first scene was a big dinosaur eating a little dinosaur that had just hatched out of an egg, but hey they gotta eat right? We had so much fun and the dinosaurs looked amazing. And the way the set changed for the different periods of time was really cool too. Jeffrey's favorite dinosaur is the "DegaStegosaurus" (as Jeffrey likes to call it) and I get to be the Mommy dinosaur. I tried to take some video even though it was prohibited (seriously, a guy was escorted out for doing it!). See for yourself...you might even learn something new.

Happy New Year!
We had a fun New Years Eve at Jeff's parent's house. His Dad made a fire outside and we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows (not together) to make smores. They were yummy! Jeffrey wasn't too interested in being outside in the cold. I got him all bundled up and two minutes later he said, I want to go inside. Can you blame him? Then of course we played lots of Rockband.

The next day we had dinner with my family and enjoyed hours of visiting.

We were all excited for the Utah football game later that week. My little sister Madi is on Crimson Line so she got to go to New Orleans. We all got together to watch the game, which was awesome by the way, and we got to see Madi perform at half time. She had so much fun and so did we. Go Utes!

Christmas 2008
Well, we had another wonderful Christmas, including all of the events leading up to it. The annual Pearson Family Christmas party was a success. Our family was in charge this year so we did some different things like games for the kids, a talent show and a video with pictures of all of Grandma Pearson's posterity.

Then it was time for our annual Christmas Eve party at Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth's house. We were a little sad because Heather and Taven had a hard time getting here from Florida so they missed the party, but we were happy knowing they would still make it in time for Christmas. Santa still brings all of us new pajamas, but we don't run and put them on like we used to! The little kids did though and they looked so cute.

Jeff and I were up before the kids on Christmas morning. I think I was more excited then they were. I finally went and quietly woke Jeffrey up. I think Hannah sensed the excitement because she was up soon after. Santa brought the kids a new kitchen to share and lots of other fun toys, books, and clothes. We had fun playing for awhile before it was time to head over to my parent's house to celebrate with everyone.

They were spoiled as usual with new little chairs with their names on them and other fun toys. Jeffrey was sure excited to see Taven and all the fun things Santa brought him. We were spoiled too with Rockband and some clothes. We had fun visiting and taking pictures before we headed to Jeff's parent's house for the rest of the day.

We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed visiting and opening more presents over there. Jeffrey was so excited when he got his big John Deere tractor to drive. He has driven it a little bit in the basement, but he will have so much fun when the weather gets nice.

It's always so much fun spending time with family. We loved having Andrew, Heather and Taven here. I'm sad that the holidays are over because everything is just back to normal. Jeff has to go back to work. We love having him home. We have talked about going to Florida next Christmas. Maybe something to look forward to!
