Overdue Haircut

I finally decided to take Jeffrey to get a haircut. It's not his first haircut. He has had it trimmed twice in the past, but I finally brought a camera to capture the moment. The girl asked me how I wanted it cut and I said I don't know...something that doesn't look like a girl. So she showed me a picture of Zac Efron from High School Musical and said this is a shag cut, is that what you want? I said sure...so I guess he has a Zac Efron haircut (without all the mousse and goop!). When I told Jeff he said, don't ever say my son has a Zac Efron haircut again!

Anyway, I think this is the shortest cut so far. It was getting a little scraggly. I love it long, but he does get mistaken for a girl quite often. Don't mind the jeans and blue shirts he is always wearing. My Grandma always asks me if he has a boy haircut yet. I just laugh...Grandma's are so honest! He looks cute no matter what.

My little Hannah Banana is already 2 1/2 months old. She is growing so fast and starting to smile a lot more. Here are some recent cute pics that I wanted to share.

Holiday Festivities

It seems like the holidays flew by this year. I don't know if it was having a new baby or trying to be too many places, but it sure felt rushed. Anyhow, I'll try to summarize the month. At the Pearson family Christmas party the kids put on a nativity play each year. This year Jeffrey was finally old enough to participate. He was a shepherd and loved every minute of it. As a matter of fact, he stole the show by looking so dang cute, oh and galloping across the stage and finishing with a big slide on his knees. Then came our family tradition of getting together at Grandma Forsyth's house for Christmas Eve. Santa brings new pj's for everyone. My sister Rori plans fun games and we enjoy being with each other. Christmas morning came and Jeffrey had fun opening all his new toys and clothes. I was mostly excited for him to see the Thomas train that he could ride on. He also loved his shopping cart. He loaded all his stuff in it and tried to hook it to the back of the train. Don't worry, we didn't forget Hannah. She got a new doll named "Hannah" and some other toys and clothes. Now it's off to the Forsyth's to visit and open gifts before we head over to the Smith's for dinner. The kids got spoiled as usual and we enjoyed being with our families. Luckily, we did get a chance to spend more time with family over the next few days through New Year's.
