Pumpkin Patch 2013

October wouldn't be the same without a trip to the pumpkin patch.  We each picked just one this year instead of going overboard like we usually do.  It was really muddy, which was not to Grayson's liking.  We still managed to trudge through and get some good pumpkins and hit the corn maze a few times. 

Quickie Vegas Trip

Jeff and I went on a 24-hour whirlwind trip to Vegas at the beginning of October.  Originally, it was suppose to be for two nights, but the day before we were leaving Grayson got sick.  We didn't feel good about leaving him, so we took him to the Dr. and got him started on breathing treatments.  He was doing much better the next day, so we decided to change our flights and still go for the night.  We had tickets to the Depeche Mode concert and a hotel reservation that couldn't be cancelled.  We got in some lunch and a little blackjack before the concert.  The concert was a lot of fun!  This was our 5th Depeche Mode concert together.  Our first one was clear back in junior high!  Anyway, I'm glad that we still got to go, even if only for a night.
