Last Day of Preschool
Jeffrey went to his last day of preschool yesterday. I was actually really sad. We loved his teacher, Mrs. Hawes. She is just so sweet and wonderful with the kids. She got teary-eyed saying good bye to everyone. She said she had a really great group of kids this year. I hope she is still there when I send Hannah to preschool. Jeffrey really enjoyed going and learned a lot. He is an awesome reader! It was fun to see him bring home a new book each week. I think he is definitely ready for Kindergarten.
Hannah had to have a picture too. She loved Mrs. Hawes and was practically in the class!

Introducing...
Grayson Taylor Smith

Our sweet little boy was born on April 19th. He weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 in. long. He is my biggest baby yet, which actually kind of surprised me. I didn't think I had enough room in there for a baby that big. We think he is absolutely adorable. He's got quite a bit of dark hair. I'm not really sure who he looks like. Some say Hannah, I see some Jeffrey, maybe just a good mix of them both. He is just sweet little Grayson! Jeffrey absolutely adores him. He was so excited to come to the hospital and see him. He had the biggest smile on his face and just wanted to look at him and hold him. He just kept saying, he is so cute, his feet are so cute, he has the cutest little face. He woke up really early the day they were coming to pick us up and said, Happy Baby Day! Hannah loves baby Grayson, but she was a little disappointed when she found out it was a boy. She was kind of hoping for a girl. She was happier once Jeff told her he looked like her. She is very sweet with him too.
The kids were excited to come pick us up. Hannah spent most of her time playing in the closet and eating snacks. Jeffrey just wanted to look at Grayson. They helped me choose an outfit for him. I can't believe I have three beautiful children!

I just love to sit and stare at him. He makes the cutest little faces and the cutest little sounds. He's been sleeping pretty good and only waking up twice during the night to eat. I'm still super tired. I know it will take some time to get used to having another child and finding that balance. I sure love my little family of five...

{The Kids Come to Visit}

Poor Grayson spent the first week of his life under the lights. That meant no clothes, just a diaper. I felt bad that I couldn't get him dressed and wrapped up all nice and warm. I had to take him in almost every day to get his poor little heel pricked. Finally, after 5 days the number had stabilized enough to take him off the lights. He's still a bit yellow.

I just love to sit and stare at him. He makes the cutest little faces and the cutest little sounds. He's been sleeping pretty good and only waking up twice during the night to eat. I'm still super tired. I know it will take some time to get used to having another child and finding that balance. I sure love my little family of five...
Easter 2011
We didn't have much planned for Easter this year with the new baby and all. Luckily, the Easter bunny was somewhat prepared and did deliver baskets for the kids. The kids had fun coloring eggs. Then Grandma and Madi were nice enough to come over and help the kids do an Easter egg hunt. They found more treats, coloring books, and butterfly nets. Happy Easter!

Happy Mother's Day!
I am so thankful that I get to be the Mother of these three beautiful children...

Jeffrey had a cute little Mother's Day program at school on Friday. They sang some cute songs and then the teacher read a few things that each child said about their Mom. The kids sure said some funny stuff. According to Jeffrey, I am 21 years old and I am the happiest when we stay at hotels. Love this kid!
