Swimming Lessons

Wow, I am so behind on blogging! Both the kids took swimming lessons in June. I wish I could have signed them up for all 3 sessions but I have been so busy planning and hosting baby showers, bbq's and bridal showers (oh, and having a 3 month old that requires me to carry him around all day) that we just didn't have time. Hannah was really nervous at first, but each day she got a little more brave. By the end she had no problem letting her teacher hold her out in the water as she swung her arms and kicked her legs. Those two weeks really gave her a lot more confidence in the water. Jeffrey did awesome. He is really brave and has no problem going under the water. Jeff and I are confident that if he fell in the water he would have no problem coming up and swimming to the edge. He loves jumping off the diving board! Now, if we could only find more time to swim throughout the year so they don't forget everything!

Lagoon

We had another successful outing at Lagoon this year. The highlight was the new Bombora roller coaster. Jeffrey and Hannah loved it! They each went on it at least 3 or 4 times. It's short but super fast. I was kind of surprised that the kids weren't scared. It certainly jerked me around. Grayson was a champ! I was a little worried about taking him around all the scum at Lagoon, but he only required us to take him out of the stroller one time to eat. Jeffrey got his face painted like a cool cheetah or something. It did look pretty cool! So basically, lunch, rides, rides, rides, Icee, rides, rides, rides, face painted, rides, rides, rides, run through the fountain, good bye! Thanks Del Sol!
