First Day of Preschool
On August 25th Jeffrey started preschool! He was a little nervous, but he was brave and did a great job. I think it helps that his little friend Alexa is in his class. They play soccer together too. And it sounds like he has already made some new friends. When I picked him up the first day he had a little paper mouse around his neck. His teacher, Mrs. Hawes, said he got it because he was quiet as a mouse. Good job Jeffrey!
Our Weekend Trip to Loa
Where is Loa you ask? Loa is a small town in Wayne County, Utah. You won't find a whole lot in Loa, but you will find Great Grandpa Taylor! He was being honored for being the oldest person (99 years old!) in Wayne County and was asked to be the Grand Marshall in the Wayne County parade. We decided to take a little trip and cheer him on in the parade. We headed there on Friday and enjoyed some lunch with the family at a fun little camping spot. Jeff and Jeffrey went on a fun little adventure up some BIG rocks. Jeffrey loved it!

Later that night we went to a true small-town rodeo. It was fun but we snuck out early cause the kids were getting a little restless and we had to get up early for the big parade.

Great Grandpa Taylor was great in the parade, wearing his cowboy hat waving to everyone. Grandpa Forsyth drove him and looked really handsome in his hat too. The kids got a lot of goodies, but I think it was Rori and Eric who really scored with mugs, t-shirts, a soccer net, etc. Better stuff than any parade I've ever been to.

After the parade, we enjoyed spending time with Grandpa before heading home. We took a different route home up through Fish Lake. It was really pretty! Jeff and Jeffrey went on another little adventure. This trip made us realize that there are a lot of fun things we can do close to home. And visiting Grandpa is always fun! We had a great weekend!
