Snow Day!

This is Jeffrey's first big snow day. I got him all bundled up to go outside and play in the snow with Dad. He really wanted to wear his blue sunglasses. They are his favorite and he wears them everywhere, including the shower. They built a really cool fort (or tent as Jeffrey likes to call it). They had lots of fun!

Happy Birthday Jeffrey!

Jeffrey is 2! We had a big family party to celebrate. He was so excited to sing Happy Birthday and blow out his candles. He had so much fun playing with all of his cousins. And he got a lot of fun toys like a basketball hoop, a cool trike, a rocking horse, a fun tent with tunnels and much more. He hasn't stopped playing with all of it since his birthday. Our living room has turned into a basketball court.

He also went to Build A Bear with his cousin Taven and picked out a cute Monkey. I asked him what he wanted to name him and he said "Yip Yip." I think that's a perfect name for a monkey. Happy Birthday!

Welcome Hannah Michelle!

Well, I have finally decided to start a blog and what better way to start than with the announcement of our new baby girl, Hannah Michelle Smith. She was born on Halloween and weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches. She has a little bit of dark hair and is adorable. It has taken Jeffrey a few weeks to get used to the changes, but he loves little Hannah and always says he wants to "hold it." He is very helpful! We are excited to have a little girl.
