FLORIDA FUN!!

We just got back from an amazing trip to Florida. My whole family decided to fly there and surprise my sister Heather for her 30th birthday. It was not easy keeping a secret like that for months before going. Needless to say, she was super surprised! Turns out that wasn't the only surprise that day. My sister Morgan's boyfriend surprised her by showing up in Florida and proposing to her. It was really sweet! The rest of the week was spent swimming at the beach and in the pool, celebrating Heather's birthday, going to the Lion Country Safari, Magic Kingdom, Gatorland and just spending time with family. When I got home I realized that I had taken over 500 pictures! I always kind of end of being the designated picture taker (probably because I always have my camera) so I have already posted over 100 pictures on Facebook for the family to see. Here are some of the highlights...

{Happy 30th Birthday Heather!}

{Lion Country Safari}

A cool drive thru zoo. The animals come right up to your car. My favorite was this ostrich checking out something in the back of this guy's truck.

{Magic Kingdom}

Crazy rain storm at Magic Kingdom complete with lightning, thunder and run away strollers.

We stayed at this crappy Disney hotel with a Toy Story theme. It was hilarious!

{Gatorland}

This picture was actually taken on our way out of Gatorland after poor Hannah had heat stroke. We hung out in the air conditioned office for awhile until she felt better. At least she didn't pass out like the other kid they brought in.

This was our last day, relaxing in the pool, then saying goodbye!

Goodbye Florida! I miss you Heather! I miss the beach! I will definitely come back again someday!

Happy 4th of July!

This year we celebrated the 4th with Jeff's family over at Leah and Brian's house. We had yummy food, treats and fireworks. My friend Emily, who is also a good friend of Jeff's family, joined us with her cute little family too. It was a good time for all (except when Jeffrey picked up a hot firework and burned his finger!).

Happy 60th Anniversary!

My Grandpa and Grandma Forsyth just celebrated their 60th anniversary. The family planned a surprise lunch in their honor at one of their favorite places to eat, Geckos. All of their out-of-town kids and some grand kids flew in for the occasion. We hung a cute banner, had balloons, cake, cupcakes and with the help of everyone who sent pictures, I made a cute video celebrating the last 60 years. I can honestly say, they looked shocked when they walked in and saw everyone. I definitely saw a few tears! They were so happy to have most of their family there to celebrate the special day. They are such a great example and I know they will share many more years together.

Happy 60th Anniversary Grandpa and Grandma! We love you!

T-Ville Dayzz

T-ville Dayzz always falls on or around Madi's birthday, so we usually spend the weekend watching the parade and celebrating. The parade was great! My sister-in-law Leah came with her kids to join in the fun. Everything was dandy until the incident with Hannah. I usually have to park on the canal road because I never get there before they close the road. After the parade, I sent the kids back to my parent's house with my Mom and sisters so I could walk and get my car. Well, as I am driving back, I notice that the cop directing traffic on 5400 S. (right outside my parent's neighborhood) is holding a child. I thought, that's kind of strange. As I get closer, I notice it's MY child. I also see Morgan running out of the neighborhood to the street. I look at her, like what the heck is going on!? Apparently, Hannah decided she wanted to go back and find me and nobody saw her leave the house. I am still trying to pull over while Morgan runs out there to get Hannah from the cop. She wouldn't give Hannah to her because she wasn't her Mom. I went and got her and was freaking out! I just couldn't believe she got that far and the thought of what could have happened was the most terrifying part. Luckily, a lady waiting in the neighborhood for the traffic to die down saw Hannah and took her to the cop. She told my sister that she had a feeling she should wait a little longer before leaving, then here comes Hannah. I'm so thankful she was there! It was a good reminder of what can happen if you turn your back for 2 seconds.

On a lighter note, the next day we had a BBQ to celebrate Madi's 21st birthday. Happy Birthday!

Cal-i-for-nia Girls We're Unforgettable...

Well, we were California girls for at least a weekend! I took a fun girls trip to Coronado Beach, San Diego over Father's Day weekend (whoops!) with my two sister-in-laws, Leah and Erin. We had so much fun! We couldn't wait to get there and go to the beach. We were a little disappointed when we landed and it was kind of breezy and overcast. Soon the clouds started to clear and we rushed to the beach. It still wasn't that hot or sunny so I kind of didn't put enough (or any, besides on my face!) sunscreen on and got a little burnt! A little, meaning I could barely move my legs for the next few days!

That didn't stop us from having fun though. That night we went to a marshmallow roast at the hotel. Yeah, it was mostly us and a bunch of families with small children. So what! Those were the best dang S'mores I've ever had!

We spent most of the next day at the mall shopping, getting our make up done, eating, etc. We were lucky enough (ha, ha!) to catch this awesome acrobatic act while getting our make up done...

Here we are wearing the new MAC summer line and loving our H&M goods...

This was the view from our room. My new H&M outfit!

The next day we hit the beach to enjoy the ocean one last time before leaving. Then we headed to the mall, again! We had lunch and ice cream and then it was time to say good bye. We definitely need to do this again! Thanks for a fun trip girls!
