My Super-Mega Update

I decided it was impossible to get caught up doing a separate post for everything that happened between May and September.  So, get ready for my super-mega update using my pictures from Instagram.  Jeffrey's soccer team had a great season last spring.  He loves soccer and we love watching him play.  He really is pretty awesome!  He got to play against his buddy Dawson one day.  Jeffrey's team came out on top with a 5-3 win.  Jeffrey scored 2 goals!

Jeffrey also played baseball.  He was on the Mets this year with his buddy Ryker.  Ryker's Dad is a great coach!  They didn't have the most successful season, but he still had a lot of fun.

I got to go with Jeffrey on his first grade end-of-year field trip to Wheeler Farm.  This was my cute little group.  I love seeing Jeffrey with his friends at school.

Poor Grayson!  This is the second time he has ended up in the hospital because of breathing trouble.  This was the night of Madi's wedding.  Jeff ended up taking the kids home early and by the time I got home I could tell that he was having trouble.  We watched him for a bit, but we couldn't stand to see him struggle.  I took him in and we ended up being there for two nights with what they thought was pneumonia, again.  We have since been told that it is most likely asthma.  The doctor thinks that when he gets a cold virus it triggers asthma.  This has happened two more times since then and we have had to give him breathing treatments at home.  Assuming it really is asthma, I sure hope he outgrows it!

Hannah's last day of preschool!  We just love Mrs. Hawes!  She is such a great teacher.  It's always hard to say goodbye to her.  I told her she better be there there in 2 years when I bring Grayson!  Hannah loved her class and all of the friends that she made.  We made a little goodbye treat for the kids.  They were cute little shovels filled with candy that said "Hope you dig your summer!"

We always have a good time at Jeff's work Lagoon Day.  This year we skipped the crappy lunch and went later.   Grayson still didn't love most of the rides, but Jeffrey and Hannah hit everything they could.  And they looked darn cute doing it!

Hannah performed at the Riverton Arts Festival in June.  We love to watch her dance!  She does such a great job and there is nothing cuter than watching her shake her little bum!

We made a cute little sign for Father's Day and took a picture to give Jeff.  We have the best Dad!

Just a fun day at the splash park!

Hannah's last day of dance.  They got awards and passed around treats.  Hannah took a cute pair of Hello Kitty socks for all of the girls.  Such a cute little class with a great teacher (aka Madi)!

One of our many fun swim days.  Madi let us tag along to go swimming at her friend Kallee's house.   As you can see, the kids had a great time!

You know we never miss Taylorsville Dayzz!  Love the parade and fireworks!

Fourth of July fun at Rori's house.  She always has good food and fun games planned for the kids.  It was a little scary though when a firework tipped over and shot right towards all of us.  We were lucky that no one got hurt.  I was a bit nervous after that!

We love going to Grandpa's house!  Grayson talks about the goats, Basil and Dobby, all week.  They get to see their cousins, ride the motorcycles, play in the theater, feed the goats, the list is endless.

Jeffrey and Hannah took swimming lessons.  They both did great!  Hannah got super brave and was swimming under the water by the end of the session.  She still gets a little nervous when she jumps off the diving board.  Jeffrey was doing crazy tricks off the diving board...CANNONBALL!

He's back at it!  Jeffrey counts down the days until soccer academy starts back up.  He's just a cool kid!

We had a fun little adventure with cousins at Silver Lake and Lake Solitude.  Honestly, not sure if I've ever been up there or it's just been a really long time.  The kids had a great time and it was beautiful!

Yay!  Taven is here.  We love when Heather and Taven come to visit.  Heather couldn't stay very long this time, but Taven was here for almost a month.  We tried to keep him entertained.

A night out at the Bees game...

Pioneer Day fun at our house...

A crazy day at Seven Peaks.  I would probably be fine if I never went again.  The kids had fun, but it was way too busy and it just felt dirty.  I was nervous the whole time trying to keep track of my kids in the crowd.

Trying to get use out of our Pass of All Passes so we hit the Lehi Fun Center.  I actually didn't think it was so bad.  The kids loved mini golf, laser tag and the climbing wall.

Bruno Mars!  Such a great concert.  Even Jeff had a great time.  I would totally see him again!

Water balloon fight!  Thanks to Grandma Merrilee for an endless supply of water balloons for lots of summer fun.

Hannah's first soccer practice.  We hesitated to let her sign up because she is also taking dance, but decided we couldn't deny her the chance to play.  She gets to be on the same team as her friends' Vienna and Kyrie.  She loves it!

Jeffrey's first day of second grade!  He is lucky because he gets to be in the same class as his best buddy, Dawson.  They have been in the same class since preschool!  They are in a portable classroom this year with a really fun teacher.  I'm not sure I love the portable classroom idea.  I picture him trudging through the snow just to go to the bathroom.  It doesn't seem to bother Jeffrey though.

I signed up for the Color Run 5k with Jeff's sisters Leah and Erin.  We had so much fun!  It was kind of hard to run because almost everyone was walking, but we were determined to get our run on that morning.  How do you like my blue mustache by the end of that race?  Good times!

Hannah's first day of Kindergarten!  Isn't she beautiful?!  Jeff came home from work so that we could both take her.  She told us we didn't need to go in with her, just drop her off...lol!  So independent!  Of course, we didn't listen and insisted on going in with her.  I don't think she was nervous at all.  She is also lucky because her best friend Vienna is in the same class.

We hosted a baby shower for Madi and baby Stella at my house in September.  She's been kind of unlucky with rain putting a damper on some of her special events.  We were really hoping we could get through this one without any rain....and we did!  Just as we began cleaning up it started pouring!  Everything turned our really cute.  We decorated in a vintage tutu theme.  All of the centerpieces had little tutus and the dessert table.  The cute little signs pulled everything together.  She got some really great gifts!

It's fun watching Hannah in action.  She scored at least a goal or two at every game, sometimes even more!  We signed her up late, so she still doesn't have a uniform.  Her team had a great fall season.  I think they only lost one game.  She is anxious for spring so she can play again!

We never miss a chance to go to the Utah State Fair.  Most of Jeff's family couldn't go this year, but we were happy to hang with Leah and the kids and Grandpa Jeff.  The Big Yellow slide was still a favorite.  Grayson went on more rides too!

I did another 5k with Leah and Erin.  It was the Electric Run at Thanksgiving Point.  It was so much fun!  Loved running at night with all the glow stuff and music.  We got through the race pretty quick so we got a front row spot by the stage.  We got a ton of loot like hats, glow sticks, glow rings, pretty much anything that glows.  Not to mention, they were filming a rose ceremony for The Bachelor.  Yeah, we were that close to Juan Pablo!  You might even catch a glimpse of us during that episode!

Madi and Nick had their sweet baby girl, Stella Rose Panos!  I got to see her right after she was born.  I loved holding the little darling.  The kids didn't get to see her until almost 2 weeks after she was born because they were sick with colds.  They were sure excited when they did!  Grayson kept saying, she's my friend and she's so cute!  Hannah can't get enough of her!

Well, that's May through September in a nutshell!  Check back soon to see all of the fun we are having in October!
