Our Little Soccer Star

Jeffrey played soccer for the first time this Fall and can I tell you...he was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! He had the cutest little team, mostly girls and a few boys. They were called the Bumblebees. The coach was great (thanks Greg!). Every game was at 8:00 AM on Sat. morning. When I heard that I almost died! But we were there at every game cheering him on and it was so much fun. I'm always amazed at how quickly he picks things up. He wasn't afraid to get in there and steal the ball or get knocked down. He really started to develop some good soccer skills. He scored every game and most the time it was 2,3, 4 goals. It was hard to get him to rotate out sometimes because he never wanted to stop playing. Most importantly, he had fun and loved it! He counted down the days to his soccer game each week. He is really sad that it's over...until Spring. I'm going to miss our Sat. morning doughnut run after each game! Number 8 is great! GO BUMBLEBEES!!
