T-Ville Dayzz

T-ville Dayzz always falls on or around Madi's birthday, so we usually spend the weekend watching the parade and celebrating. The parade was great! My sister-in-law Leah came with her kids to join in the fun. Everything was dandy until the incident with Hannah. I usually have to park on the canal road because I never get there before they close the road. After the parade, I sent the kids back to my parent's house with my Mom and sisters so I could walk and get my car. Well, as I am driving back, I notice that the cop directing traffic on 5400 S. (right outside my parent's neighborhood) is holding a child. I thought, that's kind of strange. As I get closer, I notice it's MY child. I also see Morgan running out of the neighborhood to the street. I look at her, like what the heck is going on!? Apparently, Hannah decided she wanted to go back and find me and nobody saw her leave the house. I am still trying to pull over while Morgan runs out there to get Hannah from the cop. She wouldn't give Hannah to her because she wasn't her Mom. I went and got her and was freaking out! I just couldn't believe she got that far and the thought of what could have happened was the most terrifying part. Luckily, a lady waiting in the neighborhood for the traffic to die down saw Hannah and took her to the cop. She told my sister that she had a feeling she should wait a little longer before leaving, then here comes Hannah. I'm so thankful she was there! It was a good reminder of what can happen if you turn your back for 2 seconds.

On a lighter note, the next day we had a BBQ to celebrate Madi's 21st birthday. Happy Birthday!

Hol, that is so scary!!! I'm so glad Hannah is okay! You're right, it's a good reminder that you can't turn your back for even a second. On a happier note...Hannah's outfit is adorable! I love the demin!
