Lagoon Day

It was Jeff's work Lagoon day last Saturday. We got there just in time for the company lunch and raffle then we hit the rides. Hannah acted really excited and kept pointing at the rides so we tried to put her on "Bulgy the Whale". All was good until she started trying to climb out seconds before the ride started. Needless to say, we had to take her off. This also happened on the tug boats. The one ride she did end up going on turned out to be the scariest one. It wasn't until after she was on and in the air that Jeff and I realized it went so high. We were nervous the whole time thinking she was going to climb out or fall out, but she actually loved it. She was turning the wheel and screaming with joy the whole time. And when the time came, she did not want to get off.
Before we took her off the ride...

Hannah loving this ride...

Jeffrey's favorite ride was this ladybug that went up and then dropped down as it was spinning. He was scared at first but when Jeff told him to put his arms up and scream he got excited. We ended up coming back to this one again before we left. I also took Jeffrey on the Tidal Wave with some of Jeff's work friends. In retrospect, maybe not such a good idea. He was okay at first but as soon as it started getting higher I felt the poor little guy sink into me and his face was pale. Heck, I was even a little sick. I think we'll wait a couple years before we do that again.

Finally, we hit the haunted house rides. Jeffrey loved them, but the look on his face in some of the pictures is hilarious. All four of us went in Dracula's Castle. Hannah sat with me and she didn't cry a bit but I think her face in this picture says it all...

Jeff and I agreed that it was the most fun we have had at Lagoon in a long time. Maybe it was because we scared the crap out of our kids on half the rides...hahaha! Look people, they were big enough to go on them...I promise!

aaahh Fun! Those pictures are so cute and I just couldn't stop laughing at that one of Hannah looking scared. You guys need to go back when we go!

Lagoon is way more fun with little kids. And even better if you can drag Grandma and Grandpa along to watch the kids while you ride the big rides. Last year I was pregnant and had to watch everyone have fun and it wasn't even bad.
