CALIFORNIA

As mentioned in my last post, we took a little trip to California last weekend for Jeff's uncle's funeral. We stopped in Vegas for a night before heading to CA. The kids loved seeing all the "games" as we walked through the hotel casino. When we arrived in CA Jeffrey was so excited to see his cousins. Although we were there for a sad occasion, we still tried to make the best of it.

Since we drove all that way with the kids, we decided to do something fun while we were there. We were just outside of San Diego so we ventured over to Sea World. We spent a good 5 hours there before the kids fell asleep. The first thing we did was hit the Shamu show. We all loved it. Hannah was clapping and cheering. Jeffrey was shouting "SHAMU, SHAMU" hoping to get wet. We did sit in the back of the Splash Zone, but luckily we did not get wet. Some of the other highlights were the sharks and the dolphin show.
